Painting Pad

The Let's Interact Painting Pad allows the user to create pictures selecting from a range of colours, brush thickness and an eraser to make changes to work. This packages has a unique feature by allowing the children to visually see the chosen colours and tools, alongside the ability to play back and watch how they created their pictures. The aditional benefits are unlimited by the flexibility in use of the painting pad. This product is ideal for almost any computer use within the classroom but the interactive whiteboard, tablet pc or touchscreen monitor brings to life the interactivity this product enables. The CD Rom comes complete with a teacher / educator guide which has been compiled with support from LEA Advisory Teachers.

The ‘Let’s Interact’ Writing Pad is a tool to allow children and teachers to use ICT to write within a frame. It is designed to support work in Literacy and allows children to practice their writing through a stimulating and attractive activity. Initially children and staff can select an appropriate coloured background on which to write and from the templates selection can choose from various lined papers or backgrounds of upper and lower case letters and numbers to trace. The teacher can also form their own letter shapes on a blank sheet ensuring that the schools handwriting system can be followed. Features within ‘Writing Pad’ Within the ‘Writing Pad’ children are able to select different coloured writing paper and then choose types of paper. They can play back any writing produced and can produce writing for many different purposes including writing their own names and key words. The play back feature allows the writing to be played back so teachers can see at a glance how children are forming their letters and numbers and sensitively correct these.

Envelope Maker

The ‘Let’s Interact’ Envelope Maker is a tool to allow children and teachers to use ICT to produce a resource incorporated into their everyday lives. The simple package allows the user to type information about the name and address of the person they want to address a letter or card to. By selecting various paintbrushes they can also create a stamp in the appropriate corner. When using a large interactive whiteboard children can simply paint onto the screen or use a built in keyboard (if available) to type text into the envelope format. Envelope maker can be incorporated into a role-play office or Post Office and helps to develop children’s understanding of the world whilst developing their skills in using ICT as a tool. Features within Envelope Maker Children have opportunity to select a range of colour brushes to paint a stamp and select various brush thicknesses. They are also able to choose the eraser and can visually see their choices as the mouse pointer becomes the tool selected. Once children have painted their stamp they can input text into the appropriate place on the envelope. Publish and print allows the option to print out and make the real envelopes for use in role-play or add real stamps and take your envelopes to post at the post box.

 Passport Maker

The ‘Let’s Interact’ Passport Maker is a tool to allow children and teachers to use ICT to produce a resource to support learning and teaching in the classroom. It is designed to support work in Literacy and builds on knowledge and understanding.

Let’s Publish is a selection of 5 publishing applications that children can use to publish for a variety of reasons. The applications include an envelope maker to create your own personal envelopes, a passport maker to create passports for your role-play areas, a newspaper pad so children can choose layouts and type up their own articles, a publishing pad to type and draw for whatever cross-curricular purposes you require and an about me application that can explore feelings, thoughts and ideas.
